You're in the right place
If you’re here it’s probably because something isn’t working.

-
The constant battles and meetings with school.
-
Your child shutting down, burning out and unable to attend.
-
You are feeling judged, exhausted and alone.
-
You’ve been told your child is the problem.
But what if the problem was the way they’ve been expected to learn?

We get it…
At The Wildheart Foundation, we support families who:

-
Are parenting children with autism, ADHD, PDA, trauma, or anxiety
-
Have tried school, flexi-school, or EOTAS, but nothing fits
-
See a bright, sensitive child who’s lost their love of learning
-
Want something gentler, more respectful, more grounded, more neuro-affirming
We help your child rediscover their curiosity for learning, in ways that feel safe, respectful and truly theirs.
We offer mentoring and tutoring that meets them where they are.

With deep care, skill, absolute belief and acceptance in who they are.

How We Work
The Wildheart Foundation is not tutoring and mentoring as you’ve known it.

Our Approach is:

Flexible and responsive: walking alongside your young person and meeting them where they are
Inclusive and multi-sensory
Informed by lived experience and proven methodoligies
Every mentor (YPG) is fully trained in trauma-informed practice, PDA awareness and neuro-affirming support.
Cost and Accessibility
We work with families who approach us directly, are on EOTAS packages or are referred by their Local Authority or school.
Direct Families
Our rate is £75 per hour.

We know this may not be accessible for every family.
We’re actively working on ways to make our support more affordable and flexible. Please speak to us.
LA Funding
If you're applying for Local Authority (LA) funding, please reach out.
We’re experienced in supporting families through that process and are happy to help.
Group Tutoring
We’re happy to explore small group tutoring if it feels right for your child.
Group sessions are priced based on how many children are attending.
Building the relationship between your child and their YPG
Our Young People’s Guides (YPGs) understand that nothing can be achieved without establishing a strong, trusting relationship with your child.
Our YPGs will meet your child where they are, nurturing a mutual, respectful connection so that your child feels safe and seen.

Through a gentle blend of academic mentoring and coaching, we support your child to:

-
Discover what matters to them
-
Build confidence in their own abilities
-
Strengthen their sense of identity
-
Nurture curiosity and self-direction
-
Reconnect with the joy of learning
Multi-sensory learning
We know that there’s no fixed formula to learning. Our YPGs take time to understand how your child learns, by considering:

-
Your child’s special interests
-
Their sensory profile
-
Their academic strengths and challenges
-
Emotional state and energy levels at each session

Our YPGs are supported by the wider Wildheart Foundation Team.

The Wildheart Foundation
At The Wildheart Foundation, we’re building a new kind of tutoring and mentoring provision — one where children and young people are truly at the centre.
Our team of tutors is highly qualified, trauma-informed, and deeply experienced in working with children and young people with SEND including autism, ADHD, PDA and social, emotional or mental health needs. Every tutor completes a robust induction and works closely with a mentor, so they are supported to deliver high-impact, child-led provision that helps learners rebuild confidence and reconnect with learning on their own terms.
We’re experienced in delivering high-quality EOTAS provision, including programme oversight and reporting. We’d love the opportunity to explore how we can become quality assured within your local authority, so we can continue supporting children and young people in your community.
We work to strict safeguarding policies, follow Safer Recruitment procedures, and conduct enhanced background checks on all team members. We are already quality assured providers in several local authorities, including Ealing, Cambridgeshire, and Lancashire.
If you'd like to explore how we can support children and families in your area, we’d be delighted to arrange a conversation.

Our Values
The Child Leads: We centre the child not the curriculum. Every plan, every goal, and every session begins with who they are, what they need and how they learn best.
Freedom from the System: We’re not bound by rigid targets or standard models. We create learning journeys that adapt, evolve, and truly work for each young person - especially those the system has failed.
Safety Before Learning: We prioritise nervous system safety, connection, and trust. Learning only happens when a child feels safe, respected and seen.
Neurodiversity is Not a Barrier: We embrace difference as strength. Our work is rooted in a deep understanding of neurodiversity, trauma and emotional need: never as things to fix, but as things to honour.
Relationship is the Method: Change happens in connection. Our Young Person’s Guides build attuned, dependable relationships where children feel empowered, not managed.
Reimagining What Learning Can Be: We’re not here to tweak the old system. We’re building a new one: one where joy, curiosity and belonging return to learning, and every child has their own unique place.

What
Families
Are Saying
‘Thanks for all your effort with this and for going above and beyond for our family! I would like to highlight here our positive feedback to the Wildheart Foundation in that you have been an amazing tutor/organisation. We are comfortable with you coming into our personal space, and James (our son) has been able to build up trust in another adult following his turbulent experience of mainstream education. Thank you for your deep understanding and continuous development around the very distinctive and complex PDA profile. It certainly is a specialism to come into our world and work with us!‘
Rachel, Lancashire
"This support changed everything. It made me understand my child - and myself - in a whole new way."
