EBSA - Emotionally Based School Avoidance

EBSA - Emotionally Based School Avoidance

£30.00Price

Emotionally Based School Avoidance is a common experience for many children, particularly in the neurodivergent community.

The school environment can present many demands on our children, from sensory (over) stimulation to the day to day unpredictability (timetable changes, room changes, ‘off timetable’ days) to the social rules of friendship. This can create significant stress and anxiety which means that it becomes an increasingly intolerable environment for our children and young people.

In this webinar, we discuss the signs leading up to EBSA and offer advice on the things that the schools can do, as well as practical ways that you can both understand and support your child at home.
